Anders, L. Marguerite

Miss L. Marguerite Anders, 89, formerly of Baltimore and more recently of 207 Main St.. New Windsor, died Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Carroll County General Hospital in Westminster, after an illness of several months.

Born Nov. 21, 1889 in Carroll County, she was a daughter of the late George C. and Martha Ecker Anders.

Miss Anders was employed with the Woman's Hospital in Baltimore as a telephone operator for 40 years. She retired in 1959.

Miss Anders was a member of the New Windsor Presbyterian Church for 62 years and served on the Women's Guild of the Church. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Adella Gilbert of New Windsor.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, from the New Windsor Funeral Home of D.D. Hartzler. The Rev. Biddle Foster, her pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery in New Windsor. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
