No doubt there are some folks who might wonder why I seem to be re-inventing the wheel by building a project site for Bucks County genealogy when there is already a site for the county under the US GenWeb Project. The answer is actually pretty simple. I think researchers for this area deserve more than is currently available and I think that it is possible to do better than is being done by that project. As one of the three original counties in Pensylvania, Bucks County has an enormous amount of history, but very little of it seems to be available online. I’d like to change that, with your help.

Registered users of this site can easily add to the data available here in our Data section, as well as posting in our Forum and adding to our Virtual Graveyard. Registration is free and only takes a moment. All of us benefit from having more data available online.

Search Added Posted by Mary Briggeman (2008/12/24) The Search function has now been added to the site to make it easier to find those missing ancestors. Search will bring up any page on which the search term appears. I'm also beginning the process of adding military records to the site, starting with the Associator rolls from the Revolutionary War.
